CCM soprano featured in new recording of John Corigliano’s 'The Ghost of Versailles'

This summer, Perrotta is an Apprentice Artist at Sante Fe Opera, where she will perform as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Perrotta frequently collaborates with living opera composers. Through Cincinnati Opera and CCM's Opera Fusion: New Works, she has sung leading roles in Kevin Puts' The Hours and Tobias Picker's Awakenings.

In 2020, Perrotta was recognized as a finalist at the renowned Lotte Lenya voice competition, and she has also been a regional finalist at the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions twice. During her time at CCM, she won the Corbett Opera Competition three times. An advocate for community engagement, she is the soprano soloist in the Lynx Project Autism Advocacy Series in Cincinnati; a collaboration with children with autism and artists to compose and create art song. CCM's Spring Opera Gala is a double-casted production: the same repertoire is performed during both broadcasts, but each features a different cast of singers performing arias and duets from Gaetano Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore, Gioacchino Rossini’s Otello, Ruggero Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci and more.

Each concert stream also begins with a spirited performance of the Overture to Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri by the CCM Philharmonia and concludes with a rousing rendition of the “Sola, sola in buio loco” sextet from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Don Giovanni.
