Though he is based in California, several concerts, tours and masterclasses in the greater Cincinnati area have allowed Hendelman to develop a thriving local following of jazz and swing enthusiasts. Looking forward to Hendelman’s collaboration with the CCM Jazz Orchestra, CCM’s Director of Jazz Studies Scott Belck spoke of how well students have received Hendelman in the past. “We thought it would be very cool to bring him back for a residency and concert.”
In addition to his renown on piano, Hendelman is also a sought-after arranger. In fact, "A Night with Tamir Hendelman" will feature several of his popular arrangements. Drawing inspiration from historical greats, Brazilian traditions and his own Israeli background, Hendelman’s unmatched artistry and technique consistently thrill audiences.
