Conference Registration
The 12th Annual E&I Conference will consist of four concurrent sessions, the Dr. Marian Spencer Equity Ambassador Luncheon, and presentation of the 2020 E&I Grant recipients. Aligning with the University of Cincinnati's Strategic Direction, the theme for this year's Equity & Inclusion Conference is UC 2020: Envisioning What's NEXT. The conference is designed to highlight pedagogy, experiential knowledge and innovative practices that encourage individuals and organizations to build vibrant, diverse and inclusive environments.
Volunteer Information
The Office of Equity, Inclusion & Community Impact is seeking students, faculty and staff to serve as volunteers for the 12th Annual Equity & Inclusion Conference on April 1, 2020. Planning a successful conference requires coordination by a collection of talents and contributions from volunteers to play a key role in its execution. If you are interested in donating your time, please register as a volunteer.

Eric Ellis is President and CEO of Integrity Development Corp., a firm that helps to build organizational cultures where Diversity, Inclusion and Respect flourish, which drives sustainable, improved business results. He is recognized as one of our nation’s leading consultant and strategist on matters related to Diversity & Inclusion. Eric is author of the book Diversity Conversations. Recognized as the Minority Business of the Year for Ohio and received the NAACP President’s award, in addition to many other leadership and business awards. He is a member of the SHRM Inclusion & Diversity Expert Panel. Eric has been described by the Cincinnati Enquirer as “Cincinnati’s Diversity Fixer”. Two University of Cincinnati colleges benefit from $4 million gift

University of Cincinnati alumni Mohammad H. Qayoumi, MS ’79, MS ’80, MBA ’84, PhD ’83 and Najia Karim, BS ’82, MEd ’83, RD, have made a $4 million gift supporting two of the university’s colleges. A donation from the couple establishes a fund and an endowed chair at the College of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as an endowed chair at the College of Allied Health Sciences.
