Honorees announced for Lindner’s 35th Annual CBAAs
Cincinnati Business Achievement Awards to recognize business success, distinguished service

The University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business and the Lindner College of Business Alumni Council has announced the leaders being celebrated at the 35th annual Cincinnati Business Achievement Awards (CBAAs) on March 5 at JACK Cincinnati Casino.
The CBAAs is Greater Cincinnati’s longest-running event that recognizes achievement in business and in service to communities, both locally and globally, while raising funds for scholarships and financial assistance for Lindner undergraduate and graduate students.
“The Cincinnati Business Achievement Awards showcases the business and service excellence that models UC’s passion for innovation and impact,” said Marianne Lewis, PhD, dean of the Lindner College of Business. “Additionally, it empowers our students — the next generation of business leaders — by connecting them to these extraordinary role models and raising funds for student support.”

What does it mean for you to receive this award?
"I am humbled and proud to receive this award representing UC and Enerfab. There are so many people that have provided me with amazing opportunities throughout my career and this is an awesome way to say, 'Thank You!'"
How has the Lindner College of Business impacted you personally or professionally?
"The UC co-op program got me started in the real world. It is a tremendous program. It attracts top employers and provides students with unique opportunities to gain valuable experience that helps secure employment upon graduation. My career at Enerfab began with an opportunity created by the UC co-op program. The rest was up to me."

Why do you choose to spend time working with the college?
"It really comes down to two things: community and people. You only have so many hours in a day. If the time I spend doing something doesn’t positively move my community forward or allow me to meet and know people with a vision for making a difference, I move on. Time spent at Lindner does both of those things and more. The energy, ideas and dreams of our students are the lifeblood of our future! If I can be just a little part of what feeds that energy and sparks those ideas and dreams, it’s worth every minute."

About the 35th Annual Cincinnati Business Achievement Awards
The 35th annual CBAAs will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at JACK Cincinnati Casino,1000 Broadway St., Cincinnati, OH 45202. The opening reception begins at 6 p.m., with reception to follow at 7 p.m. This event is open to the public, but registration is required. Tickets start at $150 per person.
