UC’s regional colleges offer scholarship to Cincinnati Christian students displaced by sudden closure
UC Blue Ash College and UC Clermont College are offering a $705 scholarship (three credit hour class) to Cincinnati Christian University students who are affected by the sudden closure of the 100-year-old institution, which was announced last week. Students must enroll in six credit hours to qualify for scholarship.
“We are committed to assisting these displaced CCU students in our region so that they may complete their educational path,” said UC Clermont College Dean Jeff Bauer.
UC Blue Ash and UC Clermont will each hold free information sessions over the next few weeks that are geared toward assisting CCU students.
The information sessions at UC Clermont will be held on Nov. 6 at 1 p.m., Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. and Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. They will take place in the Student Services Building, Room 100, at 4200 Clermont College Dr. in Batavia. For more information, go to www.ucclermont.edu/admissions or call 513-732-5319.

UC Blue Ash and UC Clermont each offer similar areas of study to complete CCU majors in:
Business
Pre-Business Administration associate degree will flow into all bachelor options at UC’s Lindner College of Business. Additional technical associate degree options exist in accounting, business management, healthcare management, marketing management and supply chain management.
Education
A variety of education associate degrees are available in early childhood, middle grades, special education and secondary education that continue at UC’s College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services.
English
An associate degree in English either of UC’s regional colleges transitions into the bachelor’s degree at UC’s McMicken College of Arts and Sciences.
Liberal Arts
An associate degree in Liberal Arts continues into multiple bachelor’s degree options at UC’s McMicken College of Arts and Sciences, including communications, classics, foreign languages, history, journalism, Judaic studies, mathematics, philosophy, political science, physics, sociology, all-natural sciences and much more.
Psychology
An associate degree in Psychology continues into the bachelor’s degree at UC’s McMicken College of Arts and Sciences.
