Starting on Friday, Nov. 8, activities include class reunions, pregame tailgating and the traditional Homecoming all-community parade, leading up to the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Nov. 9. Further information about all Homecoming events is available here.
The weekend is full of gatherings and festivities, capped by the nationally televised football game (CBS Sports Network) between the nationally ranked Bearcats and the University of Connecticut in Nippert Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m.. Game tickets are still available at gobearcats.com/tickets.
All the pageantry of the weekend celebration begins with the family-friendly Bicentennial Bash on Friday evening, Nov. 8, at the recently renovated Fifth Third Bank Arena. The deadline to pre-register is Nov. 3, but walk-up attendees will be welcomed if space permits. Visit here for ticket information.
Festivities continue Saturday at 11:30 a.m., when the annual Homecoming parade (featuring more than 80 entries) travels down Clifton Avenue with generations of Bearcats lining the parade route. This year’s parade showcases student-built floats reflecting the theme “Boldly Bearcat” and highlighting UC’s 200-year history.
