This November, give yourself the gift of health

Campus Recreation offers special promotions to help you stay healthy and take time for yourself for as little as $4 per month

Taking time for yourself is easier said than done, yet it is a critical part of staying healthy and active.

As we enter the season of giving, Campus Recreation Center (CRC) wants to make it easier for you to take the first step in doing something positive for yourself.

This November, CRC is offering the Red & Black membership for new members for a discounted rate of $30/month rate for the first year of membership. For employees that are UC benefits-eligible and take part in the Rec Rewards Reimbursement program, that drops the rate to $4 per month for the first year.

Campus Rec has something for everyone. For $4 a month, you will have access to:

  • Two facilities: the Campus Rec Center on main campus and the Fitness Center at CARE/Crawley on medical campus
  • Free group fitness and climbing wall access
  • 50-meter x 25-yard lap pool, leisure pool, whirl pool
  • 6 gymnasium courts and racquet ball courts
  • Suspended indoor track
  • 40-ft climbing and bouldering wall
  • Over 275 cardio and weight machines
  • Discounted rates on: personal training and nutrition coaching, swim lessons, kids camp, and more!

As members, full-time benefits eligible UC employees can receive $26.66/month membership-fee reimbursements. This program rewards members for using the Campus Recreation facilities at least eight (8) days per month. All participants in the program will be required to do an initial health assessment upon sign-up, and a follow-up health assessment at 6 months to a year into the program.

All assessments are free and provided by Campus Recreation staff. Information collected during the health assessment will include: birth date, gender, exercise frequency, smoking status, height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate, body fat percentage and Body Mass Index.

To sign up for a membership or initiate the rewards program and schedule a health assessment, please stop in or call the Member Services desk: Campus Recreation Center (West Campus) 513-556-0604, or Fitness Center at CARE/Crawley (East/Medical Campus) 513-558-0604.

Current annual members can refer a friend to be a new annual member and each will receive a FREE month of membership. There is no limit to how many new members a current member can refer. More information can be found on the promotions website.
