UC’s Aug. 1 Wine & Spirits tasting: Chard to Perfection

Make your reservations now to enjoy wines that won’t Chard your taste buds; paired with fresh, complementary appetizers

Location: UC Wine & Spirits Tastings take place the first Thursday of every month. The first spirit is served at 5:30 p.m. Flight of three wines paired with a distinctive prix fixe menu: $20 per person, not including gratuity.

August 1- Chard to Perfection

• Nicolas Idiart Blanc de Blanc, France, paired with Cheesy Meatball Cups

• The Federalist Chardonnay, Monterey County, paired with the choice of Creamy Chicken Chardonnay or Pan Seared Scallops in a Chardonnay Butter Sauce, both served with Chardonnay Glazed Carrots and Grilled Garlic Asparagus

• Bollini Pinot Grigio, Italy, paired with Caramel Apples and Brie Skewers

More beverage selections available. Must be 21 or older, and present valid ID to buy and consume alcohol.

  • Thursday, Sept. 5 for wine & spirits tasting: Napa Valley, three distinct wines paired with complementary courses, served at 5:30 p.m.
