UC presents Study Tour: Dubai Art and Culture exhibition

'At the Top!' opens April 26 at UC's Meyers Gallery

The University of Cincinnati in conjunction with the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, DAAP's School of Art and DAAP Galleries are pleased to present an exhibition of work created by students and faculty who participated in the 2019 Study Tour course, Dubai: Art and Culture. "At the Top!" will be on display at the Philip M. Meyers, Jr. Memorial Gallery on Main Street in the Steger Student Life Center April 26-May 5.

Students enrolled in the course are Sheng Yin, Ryan Tinney, Mou Chakraborty, Alex Chun, Arlene Foster, Emily Timm, Austin Woodruff, Xingchang Wang, Qianhui Zhi, Umme Habiba and Rick Wolhoy, with faculty Kris Holland and Joe Girandola. The students and faculty will present work in a variety of modes, materials and means that will provide an in-depth look into the 10-day study tour to the United Arab Emirates and focus on each participant's area of research.

The exhibition kicks off with a reception in Meyers Gallery 4-6 p.m., Friday, April 26.

The gallery is located near the Starbucks on Main Street adjacent to Nippert Stadium and University of Cincinnati Rec Center.
