Celebrate Commencement at Grad Bash on April 17
Graduates are invited to join the Commencement Office for Grad Bash on April 17, 10am-6pm in the East Concourse of Fifth Third Arena. Enjoy light refreshments and activities to kick off your graduation celebration! Activities include:
- Cap Decorating - Join in the long-standing UC tradition of decorating your graduation cap. All decorating supplies will be provided.
- Portraits - Bring your graduation attire and have your portraits taken at Grad Bash. Graduation photos and portait packages will be available for purchase from You See Photography.
- The Game of Life - The OneStop Center's Financial Literacy Coalition will host the "Game of Life" to help you learn about budgeting, saving money, and preparing for life after UC. Do you have the skills to manage your money for an entire month and win the game? Winners take home prizes.

Two University of Cincinnati colleges benefit from $4 million gift

University of Cincinnati alumni Mohammad H. Qayoumi, MS ’79, MS ’80, MBA ’84, PhD ’83 and Najia Karim, BS ’82, MEd ’83, RD, have made a $4 million gift supporting two of the university’s colleges. A donation from the couple establishes a fund and an endowed chair at the College of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as an endowed chair at the College of Allied Health Sciences.
