UC Clermont hosts 'Practice' exhibit
Art gallery features work by local painter and UC alum

The exhibition “Practice,” featuring paintings by artist Clint Woods, is on display in the Park National Bank Art Gallery at UC Clermont College March 4 - April 25. A reception will be held April 9, 4-5 p.m. in the gallery.
Clint Woods is a Cincinnati-based painter and designer. He received his MFA in new media from the College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati and a BFA in printmaking from Northern Kentucky University. Woods has been featured in a handful of local and regional exhibitions and was the recipient of the Hemera Foundation’s 2014 Tending Space Fellowship.
“A work of art employs a triggering device — a call to seek and reflect — that makes conscious what has been buried in the unconscious, drawing the viewer into awareness,” Woods said about his work for “Practice.” “The work manifests as an offering. Through images and forms, I hope to share with others that which is formless — awe, wonder, pattern and connection."
The Park National Bank Art Gallery is located in the Snyder Building on the UC Clermont College campus in Batavia at 4200 Clermont College Drive. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. For more than 20 years, the spacious 1,000-square-foot gallery has offered visual art exhibits open to UC Clermont students, faculty, staff and the general public.

Building Design: 27 interesting innovations and prototypes from the Venice Biennale

University of Cincinnati architecture students and faculty were featured in Building Design for their installation “INOSCULAE,” exhibited at the 2025 Venice Biennale. The project, directed by DAAP associate professor Christoph Klemmt, was recognized by journalist Mary Richardson as one of the top 27 global innovations in sustainable design.
