UC to celebrate Business Achievement Awards
Now in its 34th year, the event highlights businesspeople who made an impact on the Carl H. Lindner College of Business and the broader community
The 34th annual Carl H. Lindner College of Business Cincinnati Business Achievement Awards will highlight the accomplishments and support of individuals and business partners who make an impact in the Lindner College of Business, the Cincinnati community and the global business world.
The event will be held Thursday, March 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency — Downtown Cincinnati, 151 W. Fifth St., Cincinnati.
Receiving the Carl H. Lindner Award for Outstanding Business Achievement will be Kirk Perry '90, Google president of brand solutions. Visit the event registration site for a full list of winners and to purchase tickets. Ticket sales close Feb. 22.

Lindner alum Paul Polman, Dean Lewis named to esteemed Thinkers50 Ranking

Two University of Cincinnati colleges benefit from $4 million gift

University of Cincinnati alumni Mohammad H. Qayoumi, MS ’79, MS ’80, MBA ’84, PhD ’83 and Najia Karim, BS ’82, MEd ’83, RD, have made a $4 million gift supporting two of the university’s colleges. A donation from the couple establishes a fund and an endowed chair at the College of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as an endowed chair at the College of Allied Health Sciences.
