UC Law to hold free legal advice clinic for budding businesses
According to Forbes magazine, Ohio is the best state in America to launch a start-up. In recent years, Cincinnati has evolved into a major hub for the fast-growing entrepreneurship and small business community. The city’s success makes the Free Legal Advice to Better Your Business clinic at the University of Cincinnati College of Law the ideal place for start-ups, business owners, and those with great ideas to get their project off the ground.
The free legal clinic will be held at 3-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, in the atrium at the law school.
Attendees can register for 30-minute consultations with an experienced attorney to discuss one of the following topics: contracts, business start-up, litigation/dispute resolution, real estate, tax, labor/employment, non-profit, trademarks/copyrights, or patents.
Registration is available at law.uc.edu/legaladvice or by contacting Lori Strait at 513-556-0117 or lori.strait@uc.edu. Walk-ins are also welcome. Walk-in registration is available until 6:15 p.m. on the day of the event.
Free parking is available at U-Square West Garage, and parking passes will be available at the event.
This event is sponsored by the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and the Duke Energy Law Department
