Transition Access Award

Criteria

To be considered for the Transition Access Award, students must meet the following criteria at the time of application review:

  • Must have been enrolled in a UC Blue Ash or Clermont academic program in the semester of application
  • Must have been awarded a degree for an associate program at UC Blue Ash or Clermont in the semester of application
  • Minimum cumulative UC GPA of 2.5
  • Have completed a FAFSA for the academic year of the award and demonstrate financial need as defined by the Financial Aid Office
  • Enrollment in an on-campus*, Clifton/Uptown baccalaureate degree program for the term after the completion of an associate degree (not applicable to associate degrees awarded through reverse transfer)
  • Enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours) in the on-campus* Clifton/Uptown baccalaureate degree program
  • Not have attended another college or university after graduation from a UC regional campus and before transitioning to the UC Clifton/Uptown campus
  • Not have received the UC Transition Student Scholarship

*Not applicable for enrollment in any programs designated as online/distance learning, such as the online RN to BSN program in the College of Nursing and all UC Online programs.

Amount and Renewability

  • Selected students will receive $1,250 per semester (maximum of two semesters per academic year) for a maximum of 4 semesters (if all minimum qualifications above are met) while pursuing an initial baccalaureate degree
  • Co-op terms are not eligible for scholarship funding
  • Recipients do not need to reapply to be considered for renewal

Maintaining Award

  • Maintain 2.2 cumulative GPA
  • Earn at least 12 credit hours for each semester award is provided
