Job Shadowing/Internships
The University of Cincinnati Department of Public Safety offers job shadowing and student internship opportunities to those interested in observing the daily functions of the department. Job shadowing is open to faculty, staff, students and general public. Internships are unpaid. Areas shadowed may include, but are not limited to, patrol (including ride-alongs), dispatch, investigations and administration. Interested applicants can apply below.
Requirements:
- Arrive approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled ride along or internship
- Business Casual Attire
- Collar button up shirt
- Blouse
- Slacks or khakis; cannot be torn or tattered
- Closed toe shoes; no gym shoes or sandals
- Must have a valid government ID with photo or UC ID
