    A Bearcat For Life Story
During my time at UC, I’ve been surrounded by people who genuinely care about helping others find direction.
From mentors who took the time to guide me to the countless moments of community I’ve experienced, I wanted to better understand what makes this place so special. That curiosity led me to spend this semester traveling across Europe and the United States interviewing UC alumni.
Through every conversation, I’ve realized there’s a spirit that never leaves. When alumni talk about their college years, they can’t help but smile. Whether it’s a lunch in Paris, a walk in Boston, or coffee in New York, they all share the same pride and generosity that define this university.
Do you have a Bearcats for Life story?
What makes me a Bearcat for life is the desire to do the same for others. The mentorship I received from upperclassmen built the foundation for the path I’m on today. They shared lessons that helped me live with more purpose and confidence, and I want to carry that forward for the next generation.
Bearcats take pride in seeing one another succeed, and that spirit continues long after graduation. It’s something you might not notice when you first step on campus, but once you feel it, it never leaves you. That’s what makes me a Bearcat for life.
