CCM ranked in top 10 most represented colleges on Broadway
Playbill names CCM as one of Broadway's "Top 10" for the current crop of actors
The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music has once again been named as one of Playbill’s “Top 10 most represented schools on Broadway.”
Ranked as one of the top star-producing institutions in the nation, CCM was represented by at least 40 alumni performing on Broadway stages during the 2024-25 season according to Playbill's coverage. CCM is ranked No. 7 in Playbill's list — right above The Juilliard School. Movers and Makers Cincinnati featured this accomplishment in recent coverage, pointing out that CCM is the only school in Ohio to crach the top 10 in Playbill's list.
CCM consistently appears in ranking lists published by industry publications including Backstage and Playbill. In 2024, Playbill also named CCM in the top three "schools of the stars," and Backstage listed CCM in the top 13 best BFA Musical Theatre programs and in the top 12 best vocal performance programs.
Playbill looked at every actor who performed in a Broadway show from April 29, 2024 to April 27, 2025, which coincides with the Tony eligibility for this season. CCM alumni named on Playbill's list of Broadway actors include:
