UC Alert: Jan. 7, 2023

On Jan. 7, 2023, UC Public Safety sent out the below emergency messages. The alerts were sent after ShotSpotter notifications were made in the 2300 block of Auburn Avenue and the 100 block of E. McMillan. A 911 call was also made to Cincinnati Police describing a suspect. Cincinnati Police and University of Cincinnati Police stopped the subject nearby and took the subject into custody.

UC Emergency: ALL CLEAR Officers checked area 2365 Auburn Ave, there is no threat to the campus community. Normal activities can resume.
