Confirmed Team Instructions

Thank you for submitting payment for your Intramural Team!  Please see below for relevant information and instructions.

Step 1: Create/Confirm Your Team in IMLeagues

IMLeagues is the website we use to schedule intramural sports leagues.  If you have not yet created your team in IMLeagues:

  1. Login to the UC IMLeagues website.  If you do not have an account, select Create Account at the top of the page.
  2. Select Register in the middle of the page.
  3. Scroll down and select the sport and league that you registered for (e.g., Open Basketball).
  4. Select Create Team
  5. Your team's status will default to Unpaid & Pending. An administrator will process your UC Payment Portal payment and update this Unpaid status within one to three business days. Teams will only be Confirmed once they meet minumum roster requirements.
  6. Once teams are Confirmed and Paid their team will automatically move to the division you chose
Close to the end of the season, if you did not create your team in IMLeagues, we will create one for you and put a generic team name.  To request your team name to be changed:

  1. Login. If you have not logged in before, create an account, or reset password if you are unable to login and already have an account.
  2. Your team will show up on the ensuing page. Click on the team name.
  3. On the left side of the page, select Team Options and then Team Settings.
  4. Type in your new team name and select Change Team Name.
  5. Your submission will be reviewed by our administrative staff. Team names that are misleading or inappropriate may be rejected and sent back to be resubmitted.

Step 2: Optional Items

  • Interested captains can request a scrimmage by emailing dylan.whisman@uc.edu (only for certain seasons). Your team's result in this game does not count towards your regular season record.  Scrimmages are an opportunity for us to train officials prior to the season's start.

Step 3: Complete the following tasks by noon on the day of your first game.

Teams that do not complete the following steps by the deadline will be ineligible for playoffs.

  1. Some sports require a Captain's quiz to be passed
  2. After registering your team on IMLeagues, go to your team’s home page.
  3. At the top of the page will be a red bar that says, “The team captain must pass a quiz for this team. To take the quiz Click Here.”  Select Click Here.
  4. Watch the video and complete the quiz.
  5. Your score will be displayed. You must correctly answer at least eight of ten questions to pass. If you did not, select Re-take Quiz at the bottom of the page.

Teams must meet the minimum roster requirements to be moved into the division they paid for. Minimum roster requirements is equal to the number of players needed to field a full team [ex: 5 players for Basketball - 5v5, 9 players for Softball]

Depending on the season, teams will have a limited time frame to edit their rosters. This time frame can range from the date of their first game to the start of playoffs. Teams looking to add/edit players on their rosters during their first game or later are encouraged to email intramural@uc.edu to check their ability to do so.
